Cerberus provides a range of electronic security systems for organisations across the UK. No matter the shape or size of your business, private or public sector, we have a variety of solutions to help you stay secure.
Electronic security solutions are essential for any business with a physical location to help keep your premises secure and your workers safe. Having effective security in place not only ensures you meet insurance requirements and meet your duty of care to employees but helps you prevent avoidable losses and damages to your business. Commercial Alarm Systems
Our commercial alarm systems help detect and deter intrusion, vandalism, fire, theft and illegal activity on your property. These systems can be fixed or wireless and are monitored by our team and responded to accordingly.
Each of our electronic security systems are connected to our Alarm Receiving Centre, which has been certified Gold Standard by the National Security Inspectorate, so you are receiving the very best in alarm monitoring and response.
First we screen all incoming alerts for false alarms, and once verified we could monitor and escalate the alert according to our tried and tested protocol, dispatching security personnel and contacting emergency services should they be required.
Access Control Systems
These systems are used to control access to or within your premises. We provide Discretionary Access Control (DAC), Mandatory Access Control (MAC) and Role Based Access Control (RBAC).
These are available as either standalone or PC-based systems. The exact configuration of your access control systems will depend on your property and your access control requirements.
These systems are important for businesses that need to restrict access to buildings, areas or rooms to particular personnel and excluding the general public or visitors. Read more about our access control systems.
Our 3G alarm SIM card is used as part of alarm systems and will contact the central station and/or you via a compatible smartphone app.
Due to the wireless nature of the 3G alarm SIM card, they are difficult to tamper with, but can also be used as part of an analogue alarm system. Read more about our 3G alarm SIM cards here.
Wireless Intruder Alarms
These alarms are ideal for vacant or remote properties as our wireless alarm systems are battery operated. This makes them ideal for features that need to be monitored but don’t have access to a stable power supply.
They can be installed within minutes and provide 24/7 monitoring of the location for heat, smoke and motion. They also communicate directly with our alarm receiving centre for efficient security response.
No matter where your property is located, our wireless intruder alarms can provide you with a stable security solution and peace of mind. Read more about our wireless intruder alarms here.
Lone Worker Devices
Lone worker devices, similar to panic alarms, are designed for personal use by workers who operate by themselves in remote locations. They are commonly used in working environments where workers are often alone or among few workers on a property, or in occupations where individual personnel may find themselves in danger.
Lone worker devices can be fitted to lanyards or worn as a watch so that staff can use the device no matter where they are on the premises. If they find themselves in danger or unwell, for example, workers can press the alarm button on their device. This signal is relayed to the alarm receiving centre where appropriate action will be taken to ensure the worker received urgent assistance. Read more about our lone worker systems.
As one of the UK’s leading independent electronic security systems providers, Cerberus has over 20 years experience in providing tailored solutions for commercial and residential properties, major infrastructure projects and to the public sector via local and central government.
We take pride in providing bespoke security solutions to all organisations we work with so that their security needs are met immediately and are flexible enough to adapt as the organisation changes in the future.
From your initial enquiry, we will arrange a consultation and site visit to understand your security requirements and provide expert advice and guidance on keeping you secure. From this, we will arrange a thorough risk assessment to understand your current gaps and where your security could be improved into the future.
No matter which electronic security solution you are looking at, we may recommend additional security measures that will enhance your security so that you can make the most of your budget. This may include CCTV monitoring, to ensure there is visual evidence in the event of alarm activation, or open and lock up services to complement your use of Access Control Systems.
