SIA Approved Contractor
Cerberus is licensed by the Security Industry Authority (SIA), which means that our operatives are certified as 'fit and proper' persons who are properly trained and qualified.
Cerberus currently holds SIA Approved Contractor Scheme (ACS) status for the provision of Security Guarding and Keyholding. The ACS measures private security suppliers against independently assessed criteria; therefore as members of the ACS, you can be assured that Cerberus demonstrates the highest possible level of operational and performance standards for suppliers of private security services.
The SIA defines the accreditation as 'independent proof of a contractor's commitment to quality. Approved contractors are demonstrably committed to customer service and the compulsory licensing of their staff.'
The Security Industry Authority is the organisation responsible for regulating the private security industry. They are an independent body reporting to the Home Secretary, under the terms of the Private Security Industry Act 2001.
